Radio Milwaukee, thanks for the best album artwork award.

Actually we have to thank Dechazier Stokes-Johnson, a brilliant designer who did our artwork. More of his great work can be seen here.

For some we're in the top 10 for '08. For others, the top 100. It's all good.

The good people at Power Pop Station have voted our album "Esque" as the 6th best CD of the year. And we didn't pay them anything! Thank you very much!

And the Absolute Powerpop blog called our song "The Present, Tense" one of the tops of 08. Cool.

They also said our album was Number 61 for the year. We beat Nada Surf and the great Elvis Costello. What could possibly be in the water over at that blog? Great harmonies, for sure.

For our Portugese fans (or fan, depending on how you look at it) The ROA have received a really great review (we think) at Powerpop Station. Our favorite Portugese to English translation is "Cut for the waves of the radio." The kind words are truly appreciated.

Absolute Powerpop says "This one's a real top 10 contender, and the highest compliment I can pay it is that no doubt soon enough I'll be praising a disc for being Rip Off Artistesque."

The Shepherd Express in Milwaukee says "...genuinely cool tunes spliced with unpredictable interludes and European sensibilities ..."

Bill's Music Forum says "You will have to look hard to find a more upbeat and consistently enjoyable melodic pop disc."

In a totally irrational, yet in keeping with the character of The ROA, we have retained Robert Michael Sutton as the official publicist of The ROA. It seems, it has already paid some dividends since you will soon be hearing The ROA at:
